A SHORT FILM ABOUT CHANCE (FEATURETTE)

Near the seaside, two unlikely strangers cross paths when one of them seems to be attempting to commit suicide.

'To save a man's life against his will is the same as killing him', Horace once wrote. A Short Film About Chance is a rendition of Horace's aphorism, while also paying tribute to the Borgesian universe and to Krzysztof Krieslowski's A Short Film About Killing

A JUDGE'S APPETITE (FEATURETTE)

A group of wealthy barristers and judges congregate in a vast mansion to hold a grand and ecstatic celebration: a team of A-list lawyers has managed to absolve a man they know is guilty of the worst crime.

A Judge's Appetite is a project created by Livan Garcia-Duquesne and fellow filmmaker Finian James Tempest as an hommage to Aleksei German's Khrustalyov, My Car! and Hard to be a God.

WE DO WHAT WE CAN (FEATURE)

One night, two writers reunite after years apart to create a pilot for a series destined to a mysterious 'streaming platform'. A road movie in a living room that goes everywhere, but nowhere, We do what we can is an audacious comedy which offers commentary on the current socio-cultural landscape.

Inspired by the French comedy Le dîner de cons and Louis Malle's 1981 film My Dinner with André, this project was co-written by Livan Garcia-Duquesne and fellow filmmaker Adrian Axel.
